How to mark a lead sold

This process applies to sales leads (Third Party, Internet, Phone, Showroom) only. Service and parts leads cannot be marked as sold.

Steps:

  1. Open the lead.
  2. Go to "Lead Actions" and check the "Sale" box.
  3. Complete the sales information:
    • Input Date Sold: Enter the date the vehicle was sold.
    • Select Deal Type: Choose the appropriate deal type.
    • Confirm Salesperson(s): Verify the salesperson(s) involved in the sale.
    • Confirm Vehicle: Ensure the correct vehicle is selected.
    • Input DMS Deal Number: This is crucial for matching deals with your Dealer Management System (DMS).
  4. Click "Save Sale".

Entering the DMS Deal Number is essential for accurate sales tracking and reporting.
