This manual guides you on how to use the Click-to-Call feature within DealerPeak CRM to efficiently connect with your customers.

1. Accessing Click-to-Call:

  • Navigate to a Phone Task within DealerPeak CRM.
  • If a user does not have a task they can utilize the "Make a Call" link at the top of the profile.
  • Locate the customer's phone number within the task.
  • You'll see three icons next to the number: Desk, Cell, and Alternate.

2. Understanding the Icons:

  • Desk:  Clicking this icon will dial the customer's primary desk phone number listed in their CRM profile.
  • Cell: Clicking this icon will dial the customer's primary cell phone number listed in their CRM profile.
  • Alternate: Clicking this icon will prompt you to manually enter a different phone number to dial.

3.  Dialing a Number:

  • Hover your cursor over the Desk or Cell icons to preview the number that will be dialed.
  • Click the icon corresponding to the desired phone number.
    • Your designated phone (configured in your user profile) will begin ringing.
  • Answer your phone.
  • You'll be prompted to press a key (typically '1') to initiate the call to the customer.

4.  Using the Alternate Option:

  • Click the Alternate icon.
  • A dialog box will appear.
  • Enter the desired phone number.
  • Click Call.
    • Your phone will ring.
  • Answer and follow the prompt to connect with the customer.

Important Notes:

  • Ensure your work phone number is correctly entered in your DealerPeak CRM user profile. This is the number the system will call when you use Click-to-Call. (This must be a 10digit DID, extensions will not work)
